The Zoo is Free

Summer Hours 2025

Through Aug. 17
8 a.m.–5 p.m. — Sunday–Thursday
8 a.m.–6 p.m. — Friday–Saturday
*Wednesday, Aug. 6 — 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Last regular entry to the Zoo on Fridays and Saturdays through August 16 is 5:45 p.m. The Zoo closes to the public at 6 p.m. on these days (all pathways, restaurants, exhibits and attractions will no longer be open.) The South Entrance will re-open at 6:30 p.m. for the event.* Daytime Zoo guests who are planning to attend "Romeo & Zooliet" will need to exit the Zoo and have their event tickets scanned for re-entry to the event. *Tier 1 VIP entry will begin promptly at 6 p.m."

Aug. 18-29
9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily*

*Friday, Aug. 22 — 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
*Wednesday, Aug. 27 — 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 30-Sept. 1
8 a.m.–6 p.m.

Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) — 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) — Zoo closed
Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve) — 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Jan. 1, 2026, (New Year's Day) — Zoo closed
