After 33 wonderful years at the Saint Louis Zoo, we’re happy to share that Raja safely arrived at his new home, Elephant Trek at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026.
While it's hard to say goodbye to such a beloved member of our herd, we’re excited for Raja’s new chapter. He moves to Cincinnati on a breeding recommendation from the AZA Asian Elephant Species Survival Plan. The move creates exciting new opportunities for Raja to contribute to the future of his endangered species.
