We’re glad to announce our transition to a fully cashless payment system on the Zoo campus. This change is designed to improve your experience, making transactions faster and more secure.
Only have cash? Prepaid debit card kiosks will be available on-site (at no additional fee), allowing you to convert cash into a prepaid Mastercard that can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

No. There are no fees for guests to convert cash to a pre-paid card.
The kiosks do not require any personal information to load cash onto a pre-paid card.
Yes. The card can be used anywhere Mastercard debit is accepted for any type of transaction.
The pre-paid cards are not reloadable.
No, but the card can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted if all funds are not used during your Zoo visit.
- Visit a cash-to-card kiosk at the Zoo.
- Call the cardholder line listed on the card: (866) 345-2315.
- Visit the ReadyCARD® Prepaid Mastercard® website.
The machines only accept cash with bill denominations of $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100. The kiosks can convert cash amounts as small as $1.
The kiosks offer options for English and Spanish.
No. Guests do not need a mobile device to get a pre-paid card.
There are no ATMs at the Saint Louis Zoo.
VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and most debit cards are accepted. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.
