ST. LOUIS Due to storm damage at the Saint Louis Zoo and throughout Forest Park and in the interest of safety, the Zoo will remain closed today and all day tomorrow, Sunday, May 18. There have been no reports of significant injuries to any staff, guests or animals and all animals are safe and accounted for.

Make Tracks Through the Zoo presented by St. Louis Children's Hospital scheduled for Sunday, May 18, is also canceled. Although we had to cancel the in-person event, participants can still complete the race remotely, if safe to do so in their areas. More details for participants can be found at stlzoo.org/MakeTracks.

Our thoughts are with everyone in our community who lost loved ones or are working to rebuild and recover. We’ve been moved to see the true resilience and kindness of our neighbors in the wake of the storm.
