Think Pink for Conservation
The Saint Louis Zoo is now home to two flamingo species: American flamingos and Chilean flamingos! Their feather colors showcase a variety of pink shades, which come from foods like shrimp, algae and plants. Flamingos are important ambassador animals and demonstrate an essential message: clean water is vital for keeping all of us, animals and people alike, healthy.
What to Wear
Celebrate the flamboyance of flamingos in your creative cocktail attire! Think island vibes with vibrant blues and pinks, as well as flowers and feathers! We encourage guests to wear tuxedo jackets with shorts, festive dresses and comfortable footwear.
