One-Way Traffic on Wells Drive

From approximately 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, April 14-May 23, 2025, Wells Drive will change to one-way vehicle traffic — from east to west — between Hampton Ave. and Tamm Ave. to allow school buses to safely drop off and pick up students at the Zoo.

Please follow posted signage when entering Forest Park. This schedule is subject to change.

South Parking Lot Open

The South Parking Lot on Wells Drive (near I-64/40) will be open and available during this time with access from Hampton Ave. only. There will be no access to the South Lot via Tamm Ave. or Wells Drive from the west on these days.

Guests who park on the South Lot will exit the lot going east in a dedicated lane toward Hampton Ave.

North Parking Lot Open

Access to the North Parking Lot on Government Drive and street parking in Forest Park will not change. North and South Zoo Entrances are open.

Expansion Lots on Oakland Open

The Zoo’s Expansion Lots are open on these days with access from Oakland Ave. and Berthold Ave. Parking fees may apply.
