Untamed Hearts Valentine's Dinner

Enjoy a romantic valentine's dinner for two! Begin the night with a cocktail hour, followed by a three-course meal with your choice of bottle of wine for the table. Couples are encouraged to stay for live music and dancing after dinner. Additional drinks can be purchased at a cash bar.

Event Schedule

  • 6 p.m. — Doors open/cocktail hour with appetizers
  • 7 p.m. — Dinner starts
  • 8-10 p.m. — Live music and dancing

This event is for ages 21 and up only. Dinner will be hosted in the Zoo's McDonnell Center at River Camp.

Note: doors do not open until 6 p.m.; admittance will not be allowed after 6:30 p.m.

Dinner Menu

Your three-course dinner includes one bottle of wine: cabernet (red), chardonnay (white) or sparkling grape juice.

Appetizer (pre-set) — Local cheese and charcuterie, housemade pickled vegetables, mixed olives, crackers

Salad — Roasted butternut squash, dried cherries, spiced pecans, red onions, Maytag blue cheese, balsamic vinegar

Entree (choose one of three options):

  • Spinach lasagna, wild mushrooms, Béchamel, smoked mozzarella, red sauce*
  • Steelhead trout Oscar (herb-buttered crab with traditional hollandaise sauce), fondant potato, green beans, heirloom baby carrots
  • Braised short ribs, cheddar herb polenta, wild mushroom ragu, broccolini, heirloom baby carrots

*Vegetarian entrée

Dessert — Double chocolate layer cake

For the Event

Parking at the Zoo is free for those with Untamed Hearts reservations. Please park on the South Lot on Wells Drive and enter through the South Entrance. Guests will not be allowed to enter through the North Entrance as other events are taking place.
Admittance will not be allowed after 6:30 p.m.

There are no tickets for this event. Once registered, your name has been added to the guest list. Feel free to let the entrance staff know you are here for the Untamed Hearts dinner, and someone will be happy to offer directions to McDonnell Center at River Camp. Once you arrive, please give the host the name you registered under to be seated.
