Field Trip Exploration Guides
These self-guided tours are tied to the state science standards. Both guides highlight four animal habitats at the Zoo, providing background thematic information and suggesting questions to prompt active student discussion during your visit.
Grades K-2: Developed for use by small groups led by an adult. (Allow up to 60 minutes.)
Grades 3-5: Developed for use by small groups led by an adult. (Allow 90 minutes.)
Scavenger Hunts
Scavenger hunts are activity pages that lead your group on a self-guided tour of the Zoo to discover more about specific topics. Upon request, we will mail or fax a single copy of any particular hunt. You can also view and print a copy of a scavenger hunt by clicking on the topics below. Please make as many copies as you need for your group.
