The Saint Louis Zoo will host job fairs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 and Friday, Feb. 3, and from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, in The Living World at the Zoo’s North Entrance for those interested in part-time work at the Zoo.

In addition to summer employees, the Zoo is seeking applicants who have immediate availability mid-spring. Energetic, responsible and service-oriented individuals are needed for part-time positions, including catering and food service personnel, attraction operators, education interpreters, security beats, retail and parking lot attendants and more.

Flexible weekday and weekend positions are available for ages 15 (work permit required at time of hire) and up. The job fair will include information on employment, plus an opportunity to interview with possible same-day job offers (pending successful completion of pre-employment paperwork process).

The Zoo offers competitive hourly wages, free employee parking and an ideal working environment. Positions start at $13.25 per hour. Many weekday positions start at $14.75 (based on availability, experience or the ability to serve alcohol).

Advance registration to attend the job fair is not needed. Dress for the fair is business casual. All successful candidates will be required to submit to a criminal background check and a drug test.
