  • Learn about animals that rely on clean oceans for their well-being, including sea lions, stingrays, penguins, puffins and coral
  • Meet keepers who care for ocean species
  • Watch scheduled sea lion and shark feedings
  • Bring the kids for ocean-themed crafts and learning activities
  • Learn about the importance of keeping our oceans and waterways clean, and how you can help
  • Enjoy food and beverage specials

Want to help?

  • Take our #byetobags pledge and switch from plastic bags to reusable bags (this helps keep oceans clean and animals safe)
  • Adopt one of our ocean species through the Zoo Parents Program
  • Shop for gifts that support our conservation efforts at open gift shops

June 9 also is Deaf Day at the Zoo

In partnership with The Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, our Zoo will have American Sign Language interpreters at the following activities on World Ocean Day:
