When school is on break, you can spend the day at the Saint Louis Zoo! Join our Camp educators to learn about animals and conservation. Each day of camp will have crafts, games, Zoo tours, and a whole lot of fun!

Break Camp Programs
For Students in Grades 1-5

Join us for a fun filled week of searching for fantastic beasts! From art to books to movies, animals and mythological creatures play an important role in our modern-day entertainment. But do dragons really exist? Where did the legend of the unicorn come from? Throughout the week, campers will explore a variety of animals, real and imaginary, and how they add to our enjoyment of the stories in which they are found.

Spring Break Camp Before-Care

Participants can enjoy a continental breakfast (cereal, fruit, milk, juice) and indoor activities until camp begins. This program is for Spring Break Camp participants only.

From the grasslands to the trees, from the desert to the seas, animals have amazing adaptations to help them survive! Campers will adventure around the Zoo, discovering how animals live in habitats all around the world. Add Before and/or After-Care for an additional fee.

During this chilly time of year, campers will take a look at some animals that are suited to living in cold habitats all year-round! Through tours of the Zoo, crafts and activities, campers will discover how animals can survive in some of the coldest places in the world. From polar bears in the north to penguins in the south, these cold weather warriors are truly unique!
