See the KSDK Show Me St. Louis story about the Zoo's train engineers.

For kids 7-107!

Come aboard and learn to be a Zooline Railroad engineer! Get a "behind the scenes" look at what it takes to be a part of one of the top attractions at the Saint Louis Zoo. Work alongside an engineer as he does his safety checks and morning activities at the maintenance shed. Help the ticket agent tear passengers' passes at each station and guide them to their seats. Take control by announcing the narrated tour on the train, then ride with the engineer on the locomotive*, blowing the whistle and ringing the bell!

To look the part, each participant will receive a nametag, Zoo bandana, and engineer cap and will enjoy a complimentary lunch with a Zooline Railroad engineer. Take home a special certificate, suitable for framing, as a reminder of your day on the Saint Louis Zoo’s railroad!
