Wed - Sep 01 -- Mon - Sep 06	North Star Summer Zoo Weekends The Zoo is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Labor Day hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weekday hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting September 7 the hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Fri - Sep 03 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM	Jungle Boogie Friday Night Concert Series Kim Massie. Bring your whole family for a free concert in the center of the Zoo.
Fri - Sep 10 -- Sat - Sep 11 12:00 PM - 12:00 PM	St. Louis BioBlitz Join teams of scientists and skilled naturalists during the 24-hour expedition in Forest Park. Expeditions leave every hour from the base camp which is located behind the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center (Forest Park Forever Building). Families with nature lovers, budding scientists and experienced naturalists of all ages are invited. Here's your chance to learn about everything from fish to fireflies, bats to butterflies. Registration for the general public will be open in mid-August. BioBlitz is led by the Academy of Science St. Louis.
Sat - Sep 11 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM	Just Like You at the Zoo Join St. Louis Children's Hospital at the Zoo as we "hunt" for nutrition and exercise information. Admission is free.
