New Birthday Party Program in 2009
Experience a true Zoo animal adventure for your next birthday party, and leave all the details to us!
All parties are led by Education Department staff and include:
- Private party area just for you and your guests
- Individual birthday cakes and apple juice for adults and children
- Tableware (We use real plates and cups to help reduce waste.)
- Fun animal-related games, crafts or activities
- Live animals to see and touch
- One free Safari Pass and a gift for the birthday child
- Customize your party with extra opportunities for your guests (see sidebar).
Party Packages
Pick a party package and theme to match your child's interest and abilities. Click on links to see more details.
- Recommended for groups with guests 9 months-5 years old
- 60 minutes in reserved party area
- Offered weekends at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., or 2:30 p.m.
- Theme choices: Pet Protectors, Backyard Explorers, Zoo Discovery
Cost: $300 for up to 30 guests, $12 for each additional child guest and $5 for each additional adult guest. Each child 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult. There is a 1:4 adult to child ratio for children 4 and older. Maximum 40 people allowed. Zoo Friends members at the Family level or higher receive 10% discount.

- 90 minutes in reserved party area
- Offered weekends at 10:00 a.m., 12 noon, or 2:00 p.m.
- Theme choices: Caring Keepers, Animal Safari, Zoolympians
Cost: $400 for up to 25 guests, $16 for each additional child guest and $5 for each additional adult guest. Each child 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult. There is a 1:4 adult to child ratio for children 4 and older. Maximum 40 people allowed. Zoo Friends members at the Family level or higher receive 10% discount.

Deposit
A $50 deposit is required at booking, with full payment due two weeks before the party.
