Snooze at the Zoo - Fall 2010 / Spring 2011
Wild Americas!

Here is your chance to work on activities for your Naturalist Badge and sleep at the Zoo!

You will spend the night at the Zoo-a time when everyone else has gone home (except the animals). Scouts will work on some activities which count towards their Naturalist Badge while learning about the Wild Americas! North and South America are rich in biodiversity and animal folklore. We will explore the wildlife of the Americas while we learn about mystery and folklore of some of these amazing animals. The evening will include games, a live animal class, a flashlight scavenger hunt through the Herpetarium, and much more!

The evening portion of overnight programs includes an evening pizza snack (with a soft drink), rotations through exciting activities and our famous night hike. The morning portion of the overnight adventure includes a continental breakfast; our morning hike around Zoo grounds a souvenir Zoo patch and glow-in-the-dark overnight cup!
