The Education Department offers many opportunities for scouts and other organized youth groups to enjoy the Zoo and learn about the animal world. Programs range from a 45-minute classroom program to a sleep-over at the Zoo, and may include live animals, biofacts, activities, games, tours, or crafts. Plus, we offer a variety of programs that help scouts work towards their badge requirements!
Your group will have fun together while learning about animals, their habitats and conserving natural resources.
Please click on the links above to find out about our offerings. Also be sure to check out our fun Educational Tours. And for useful information on parking, food and other services that will help make your Zoo visit more enjoyable, see What to Know Before You Go.
Attention Teachers and Group Leaders!
Schools and groups are now required to register before visiting the Zoo. Please take a moment to let us know when you are coming, by completing the school/group registration form.
