Penguins, puffins and other polar wildlife are fascinating to observe. Some come from opposite ends of our planet yet have much in common. Join us as we explore how they are alike and how they are different, where they live, what they eat, how they move and how we care for them at the Zoo.

What are the differences between a salamander and a lizard? As we visit the Herpetarium, we will discover what unique characteristics these creeping and crawling animals have that distinguish them from each other. We will also explore how these animal groups live in many places throughout the world.

How does a sea lion differ from a lion? How are they the same? This tour emphasizes the diversity of mammals by examining their physical characteristics and lifestyles. Discover the many different forms and functions found among these furred animals.
