Youth attend these programs on their own, unaccompanied by a parent or other adult.

Playful Primates (NEW!)

Do you love monkeys, apes, and lemurs? Swing on down to the Zoo, where you will discover what all primates have in common and how they are different. We will also play games, and make a craft to help us learn about the primates we have at the Zoo. We will finish up our class with a visit to the Primate House and Fragile Forest.

Grossology 101

In this class, gross is good! You will have an up-close, personal experience with hairballs, slime-producing creatures, and some of the grossest things you have never heard of! Let your inner "grossologist" shine while learning about all the different ways scientists investigate gross things. To top it off, we will make your very own collection of gross things to take home!

Serpents

Serpents range in size from just a few inches to over 30 feet in length. Most can swallow food items that are three to four times bigger than the size of their own head. Come and learn about this diverse group of reptiles and their fascinating adaptations.
