Classes include live animals, biofacts, and observation and investigation activities to help meet your child's science needs. Programs are held on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Classes meet in the lower level of The Living World building. For more information, call (314) 646-4544.

Have you ever wondered how the Saint Louis Zoo designs a naturalistic exhibit for animals? It is more than just walls and rocks! Come learn how we plan for the safety of the animals and the keepers, all while creating the viewing enjoyment of the visitors. You will build your own model Zoo exhibit.

Zoo Nutrition
Do anteaters at the Zoo really eat ants? Are the lions fed zebras? While zookeepers are responsible for the daily care of the animals, the nutritionists are the diet experts. Come learn about the three types of animal diets and how they are prepared and delivered to each of our animals.
