Nocturnal Safari Overnight

If you think Halloween night is a little spooky, try coming to the Saint Louis Zoo, at night! Join us for a nocturnal safari and see what goes bump in the night around Zoo grounds. This program includes a live animal class, evening snack, nocturnal games and one night hike you won't want to miss!

For Families With Students In Grades 4 and Up

Animal Enrichment 101

Working at the zoo has its rewards, and making enriching experiences for zoo animals is one of them. This time, you can take part in the fun! Come and find out how Zoo staff and volunteers use enrichment to enhance the animals' enclosures, and provide exciting observational experiences for the visitor. We will start the program by learning the hows, whys, and whats of enrichment, along with making items for the bears and other animals. We will visit the animals and watch them receive the enrichment items we made.
