Live animals make learning the alphabet lots of fun. Pictures, models and other materials will be used to help students practice their A, B, C's. Learn upper and lower case letters by matching adult and baby animals.

CREATURE COUSINS, BIG AND SMALL

Learn about similarities and differences in the animal kingdom. Meet some large and small animals that illustrate these qualities.

WHO AM I?

Grades K-3
Program length: 45 minutes
Offered year-round, except April and May

My outside is slimy and wet,
with bones inside you can bet.
I live in wet places,
and love insect chases,

In this program, students discover the answer to this riddle and develop the skills to classify the major groups of vertebrate animals based on their characteristics.

INSECT INVESTIGATIONS

Grades K-3
Program length: 45 minutes
Offered year-round

Are all creepy-crawlies alike? Some people think bugs are all the same. Through observations and activities, students learn the basic characteristics of insects as well as their importance.

ZOO CLUES (New!)

Grades K-5
Program length: 45 minutes
Offered year-round

In this hands-on class, solve puzzles to learn more about animals. Use clues such as animal calls and tracks to figure out the identity of some local animals, and even meet some of them, too.

Owls teaching prepositions? Snakes teaching measurement? We'll bring our animals to your classroom to support your curriculum and create a truly interdisciplinary lesson. HOOKED ON HERPS

Invertebrates grow and change differently from vertebrate animals. Learn about the life cycles of a variety of animals through observations, activities and discussions.

BREAKING THE RULES

Grades 4-8
Program length: 45 minutes
Offered year-round

Review the characteristics of animals from the major groups of vertebrates: fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Then meet some live animals who have some unexpected features.
