Although we are always happy to have you come to the Saint Louis Zoo (after all, this is where the animals are), we know it is not always possible. When this is the case, we offer outreach programs -- so you can have the Zoo come to you! Please click on one or more of the links above to learn the details of our many outreach offerings. Who Are our Outreach Audiences? Our outreach programs serve schools, libraries, senior groups, scout groups and numerous other community organizations. What Group Size is Required? Our small group outreach programs serve from 10 (minimum) to 30 people. We also deliver assembly programs to larger groups. We're happy to customize a program to fit your organization's needs. How Far Will We Travel? We serve groups located within the Zoo-Museum District and beyond -- within a radius of 30 miles from the Zoo.
How Do You Schedule an Outreach Program? In most cases, we offer our programs year-round. Please contact our Outreach Coordinator Lisa Berman, berman@stlzoo.org or (314) 646-4754, to schedule an outreach program for your group.
Distance Learning Programs The Saint Louis Zoo now offers remote education programs using state-of-the-art videoconferencing equipment. All programs are interactive and utilize live animals, video footage from the award-winning KMOV Channel 4 At the Zoo television show, and other means to create a memorable learning experience. Please check out our current Distance Learning offerings. Fee: $125 per program plus connection costs (if applicable) Edward Jones is a proud supporter of the Saint Louis Zoo's Education Department and its conservation education programs.
