Endocrine Lab Staff

Joan E. Bauman, Ph.D., Endocrinologist, earned her doctorate in Endocrinology from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Bauman has 30 years experience performing radioimmunoassay and enzyme immunoassays. She directed the Master's & Johnson Institute reproductive endocrinology lab. She is also a former Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and currently holds an adjunct faculty position in the University's Department of Biology.

Cheryl Asa, Ph.D., Director of Research, earned her doctorate in Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Asa has 25 years experience in comparative reproductive endocrinology, including RIA as well as gas, liquid and high-performance liquid chromatography. She currently holds adjunct professor positions at Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri - St. Louis, teaches Endocrinology and Behavioral Endocrinology at Saint Louis University, and is a lecturer at Washington University.

Corinne Kozlowski, M.S., Endocrinology Technician, earned an M.S. in Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University. In addition to working in the Endocrinology Lab, Ms. Kozlowski is also a doctoral candidate at the University of MissouriSt. Louis,where her research focuses on the influences of yolk hormones on the development of birds.
