Scientific Name: Saguinus oedipus

These little monkeys are found only in the rainforests of northwestern Colombia. They eat fruit, insects and other small animals.In the wild, groups may include several breeding females but in captivity the animals can only be kept as breeding pairs. Cotton-tops are endangered due to deforestation, hunting, and capture for research and the pet trade.
