Range: Northern Vietnam
Habitat: Caves and rocky mountian areas
Conservation Status: Unknown
Scientific Name: Theloderma corticale

These uniquely shaped and textured frogs inhabit the karst limestone regions of northern Vietnam, where they occupy cavities in the banks of mountain streams and flooded caves. The frogs reach a body length of 3.5 inches, with the males tending to be smaller and thinner than the females. The combination of the green body coloration with black spots, tubercles and spines makes them look like a clump of moss. As a result, they're almost impossible to spot when sitting still.
